Murrysville Community Park

At 305 acres, Murrysville Community Park is Murrysville's largest park and designed to be a central meeting place for people by offering a variety of active and passive recreational opportunities. Three sports fields, 2 ballfields, a Miracle Field complex and a soft surface all-sports court are currently in use, as well as the two mile Valley Hiking Trail which was completed by volunteers in 2008.  The Valley Hiking Trail connects to the Westmoreland Conservancy's Walter Nature Reserve and Caywood Nature Reserve.  A dog park donated by Murrysville's Brooks family opened in 2010, with separate areas for large and small dogs.

Near the entrance to the park, Murrysville has restored a Sears Craftsman house that was the home of the Cline family, the previous owners of the property. (The Sears house is occupied by a tenant and in use as a residence.)

Heading East From Monroeville - take Route 22 East and turn left onto Cline Hollow Road (across from the Walnut Hollow Plaza)
Heading West on Rt. 22 from Delmont - Turn right onto Cline Hollow Road

From this point:
• Go all the way out Cline Hollow Rd. until it T-junctions with Hills Church Road
• Turn left onto Hills Church Road
• At the next intersection Hills Church will turn left; HOWEVER, go straight and you will be on Wiestertown Road
• Cross the intersection with Evans and Bollinger Roads
• Go past two houses. Park is located on both sides of the road
• Parking for the Wetlands Area is on the Right side of Wiestertown Rd. before you get to the entrance leading to the ball fields

From Route 286 (Saltsburg Road - the stretch between Route 380 and Route 66)
Turn onto Hilty Road (located between Mamont and Lockwood Roads
Turn at the 2nd right onto Wiestertown Road
Pass Farm Road (on the left)
Pass the small farm house on the right
Go past the Park entrance then look for the Wetlands Parking Area on your left.
